STEYR, M9, AF, L9, 9MM, PISTOL,

Question: Anyone have the Steyr L9-A2 MF?

I have long sought a Steyr M9A1 9mm pistol. In a crowded field where so many pistols are only slight deviations from each other, the Steyr has been truly unique for years. The original M9A1 became aged as modern technology improved not only manufacturing and quality, but accuracy and triggers as well. Steyr came out with their new A2 MF and just today I had the ability to lay my hands on this unicorn. I absolutely loved it.

Steyr, L9 A2, 9mm, pistol,

So – anyone have one by chance? If so, please share your thoughts below.

Will I get one? I need another pistol like the National Debt needs another trillion added to it. That doesn’t mean it won’t happen though.

Have a good rest of your weekend.

For a time I was interested in this pistol, the 1st gen version anyway. The reason was I just wanted something different from everyone else. After watching a bunch of reviews I couldn’t help but notice it had a very erratic ejection pattern. It sent the spent shells everywhere, often back at the shooter. It kinda turned me off of getting one. I wonder if the gen 2 version does the same thing?

I have seen a M40-A1with the triangle front sight. It looks like a ray gun to me, taller at the muzzle than at the tang. It’s a cool pistol for sure. Hope you get your hands on the exact one you are looking for.
