While the headline is a bit of an exaggeration there is no doubt the availability of common calibers is extremely low. I’ve been saying it for over a decade to stock up on firearms and ammunition – now.

After Sandy Hook, many of us were caught with our proverbial pants down. Lessons not learned back then are being taught now.

My prediction is regardless of the outcome of the upcoming elections ammunition will continue to be scarce. What does this mean for you? If your ammunition supply is satisfactory then nothing. If you are in need – then be ready to do some work scouring for in-stock sources – both online and local.

Over the past few weeks, I have traveled upwards of 3,000 miles. Along the way, I’ve seen 9mm ammunition for .90 cents/round – down to .38 cents/round. I’ve seen .380 ammo for $37.50 for a box of 50, down to $16.99.

AmmoSeek.com is a good place to search for online deals.

In summary – you can’t go back in time. With the level of uncertainty, we are all feeling, stocking up needs to happen starting right now.

It is axiomatic that you can never have too much ammo. Having said that, the only thing that bothers me is that the vast majority of new gun owners are just that – new. To whatever extent possible, they are vacuuming up ammo for firearms that they have zero knowledge about, and they will never become qualified. That makes them dangerous to just about everyone, including themselves.

There has never been better salesmen for firearms than the Marxist fools who are trying to destroy our republic. Ben has a point. The freak show has intensified to the point where even the lazy sheep are now worried and sourcing a firearm. I lost my precious chocolate Labrador in May but remain friends with the veterinarian and mentor her on gardening and growing food in general. I was at her place yesterday to bring her a bitter gourd seedling and Malabar spinach seeds. She has recently put a monster solar power array on her roof. Even larger than my solar plant!
Anyway, she told me that she bought a shotgun and proudly showed me the cutest little Mossberg 410 popgun. I tried to be enthusiastic and told her that it’s a great beginner’s gun and decent for very close range home defense but she should consider a larger bore weapon. She said the dealer had very little inventory to choose from and they charged her more than $500.00 for that little .410 pump.
So it does indeed pay to lay in stocks of anything and everything you need before surprise calamity comes along. Whether it be a pandemic or a Plandemic the result is the same, a community or a nation of frightened sheep.

If I am concerned about anything, since I have the things I need, is the number of first time gun owners, that don’t have the mindset or ability to responsibly use them. I am totally OK with sheep dogs standing up, but at best sheep are dangerous to themselves and others, and at worst are JIT inventory for bad people. Now toss in defunding of police.. and you have a mess. Possibly deliberately to cause a mess to support future actions as a justification of 2A removal, or curtailment.
    Speculation of course but possible.
