JR, I firmly believe that the USA would be able to create, manufacture, and distribute any supplies needed for our survival. We did it in WWII and yes, we suffered during the hard times, and rationing was tuff too. We repurposed, reused, and redistributed supplies to where needed. We manufactured our own war materials in auto manufacturer plants and used old warehouses for other purposes. Grandparents built gardens and traded fruits and veggies amongst neighbors. Any excess was easily traded for money or barter. I just don’t see it becoming catastrophic and we all do without. Other countries will be hurting also if China is under an embargo. Russia is having problems buying needed supplies currently. The extreme wealthy will circumvent any restrictions and not all countries will honor an embargo.
We have incorporated MAD into our economics and trade. Stupid but true.
FUBAR is what it would be. These shortages would result in death of those dependent on medications supplied by China. Shortages would cause more theft and chaos by same people who burned down cities 3 yrs ago. Iβm not confident the country could hold together long enough to retool and repurpose. Sounds good, but this isnβt the same America that rallied during WW2 or even 911.
Wonder if any of the corrupted and co-opted politicians that sold our country over the last few years will ever be held accountable?
That is when they would remove the American worker and replace them with robot factories, and AI.
They have been gearing up for this move, already in place in Germany.

Looks like there is a big shindig planned for Butte on July 4th.
My concern with the Chink problem is prescription meds.When we get the
state income tax refund check we are going to order a years supply from
Jase Medical and fill the propane tanks.
