Video Showing Some Activities Around The Property

Recently I shared the video below across numerous social media sites as both a call to come visit this website, as well as to share a few experiences here on the property. I plan to do more of this specifically for you folks. This I should have done already.

I think it turned out pretty good.

Take care.

How this kit will allow you to start a fire -
  • The included waterproof matches can be completely submerged and will still ignite with no problem. Simply shake or blow the water off and then strike on the included striker piece. These matches burn at over 1,200 degrees.
  • Char Cloth is a natural material made specifically to be easy to ignite even with a very small spark. This makes it an ideal fire starting material.
  • The included butane lighter will strike a flame over 1,000 times. If you haven't made a fire by then, give up.
  • The ferrocerium rod and included striker can throw thousands of sparks over and over again with each scrape. These sparks burn upwards of 3,000 degrees providing an excellent method to start a fire.
  • Petroleum jelly cotton balls are one of the absolute best fire starters around. They light easy and burn time is measured in minutes.

Great video, and I’m so happy that you get time with Grandson. He’s growing like a weed!

    D. Williams, I don’t do Instagram either, but if you click on the vague triangle in the center of the second photo you should be able to watch the video.

Great video. Wish I had that much wood ready for my fireplace. Enjoy every day that you can be outdoors and either do some work or just enjoy a squirrel foraging for food.
Good luck as the approaching Winter weather makes its arrival. Thanks for posting.

Thanks Jan. Funny you mention the squirrels. There are a few chimpmunks nearby that I have laid out pecans in their shells outside there homes. They seemed to have loved them.

a family, a home. a large garden and a sustainable source of water.
what more could a person want. it’s all about not having to depend on others for what makes you happy.
it’s hard to achieve, it took us 20yrs of hard work, scrimping and saving but financial independence is the key to living the dream. we have been debt free for 15 yrs now, as much as a person can be. insurance is our biggest expense now. but it can be done.
best of luck to you and yours John and lets hope 2024 will pass over us.
