“UVALDE, Tex. — The gunman who opened fire at an elementary school here shared his intentions to carry out an attack in private social media messages shortly before slaughtering at least 19 children and two adults, officials said Wednesday.”
It goes without saying – it still has to be said – that the killing of innocent lives is unfortunate and absolutely evil. Regardless of the reasons that some defective demented soul looks at a 9-year-old child and pulls the trigger to end an innocent life – evil is involved. Politicians on both sides have come out to condemn the deaths and then very quickly throw politics and agendas into the mix. There’s one thing that is easy to understand in this insanity:
Evil exists. Period.
Evil has existed for many millenniums. It has taken brave men and women to stand up and combat those with evil intentions to keep the masses safe. People have had to take responsibility for themselves and their families – or suffer the consequences. Evil sometimes touches the lives of very few, and other times countless millions. The battle between good and evil has always existed and will always exist.
While pundits, politicians, and the media make demands to restrict citizens from owning firearms, criminals and evil-doers laugh as they know what the rest of us know – laws do not apply to those who ignore them. Politicians will promote laws that will do nothing….zero – to stop evil. Any new laws will absolutely impact law-abiding citizens all the while decreasing safety and creating more victims.
Selective outrage is not a reason to step on people’s rights and freedoms.

WEll said Rourke- our hearts are heavy but we MUST protect our rights to bear arms.Biden signing an executive order to limit the fire power of police at this time is outrageous and needs to be challenged by voting him out and or impeachment.
School need to increase security and those who are the security must be willing to risk their lives to protect the children or do not take the
job. I homeschooled our children for many years and I am happy to say that my grand children are being homeschooled after covid.
Pray, prepare, honor our veterans and our deceased loved ones this Memorial day .We are planting the gardens and sharing some burgers with the family and praying for all those who died in Texas even the Grandfather who lost a wife and grandson (the killer) =what senseless murders. We also must stop the violent video games and movies and instead of social
media worrying about us conservatives they need to pay attention to the
threats of people who announce they are about to commit such horrendous
crimes.

I can only add that I see politicians actually aiding, abetting, and fomenting evil. The wolves are in the henhouse. They are not representing the public.
No doubt CaptTurbo. Just look at the protests and rioting over the past few years when insurgents actually took over part of a city. Authorities sat by and gave them space and time to destroy and pillage.
This is what happens when you remove God and personal morals from every aspect of life. Evil grows in that vacuum. Unchecked it corrupts the mind, calluses the heart, numbs the senses.
The sheepdog needs to become the warrior to put down this evil.

As with most tragedies, the truth filters out more slowly than the lies and propaganda of immediacy. Confirmed reports are that violence started outside the school and lasted for 12 minutes before the psychopath entered the school and then the final act of killing did not occur for almost an hour. The ‘law enforcement heroes’ did NOTHING, except to restrain frantic parents attempting to reach their children. Apparently they only have courage when facing the unarmed. And some reports say some of these ‘heroes’ went into the school to retrieve their own. Whatever the motives of impotency they displayed does not absolve them of cowardice, collusion and collaboration with their evil overlords. May God judge them accordingly and damn them to eternal punishment.

100% correct Ralph. Here’s something to consider – and to ponder: Is there really anything we can do about it?
He is limiting fire power to the police and then tells us we don’t need firearms to protect ourselves, that the police can do it, if you believe that I have some bridges in the Sahara desert I’m willing to sell.
JohnP – Biden is obviously off-his-rocker. While I do believe he THINKS he is in charge and making decisions – his handlers are continuing to control the narrative and the policies getting brought forward.
These things happen because we have cheapened the value of human life. When you are unwilling as society to protect even the most innocent from being murdered, aka: abortion than what should we expect! Over 60 million dead since 1973. 1/3 of all African Americans who would be alive today are not because of abortion. We Americans have perfected the art of Genocide and called it a woman’s choice. Margaret Sanger would be proud how effective her organization has been at reducing the African American population in America. After all that was her original intent for Planned Parenthood.
And adding to the above, how we handle mental health in this country is a farce. Ever since we moved from in-patient care model to out-patient care model in the late 1980, we have seen an increase in mass shootings being with Columbine HS.
