Since my post on March 22nd, I’ve had numerous people reach out asking how things are going. First off, I am still unemployed, however, I have gone on several interviews and had many phone screenings as well. With the economic outlook being so poor I have been pleasantly surprised with the amount of activity. I have been in serious discussion with a company in South Carolina near the coast with 7 phone interviews so far. I am traveling for an onsite interview Monday. I have one local company wanting me to go to work for them. We have not discussed wages and benefits yet, but, the position is definitely a step back in my career. Beggars can’t be choosey, right? I will certainly take the job depending on what happens with my South Carolina trip.
The donations and orders I received from my March 22nd posting were not only appreciated but VERY helpful. I continue to use my time listing things on eBay to make some money and of course filling out job applications online. I still have many Sawyer Mini Water Filter Bucket Kits as well as the AR Single Point Sling Adapters ready to go. To generate some income I’ve put together some informational products including a Paladin Press 450+ eBook Library on a single USB drive. Tons of information there. I also am almost ready to roll out an absolutely gargantuan survival & preparedness library over 100 gigabytes in size. Thousands of books, videos, guides, manuals, movies and more on that one. Stay tuned!
I’ve been riding my mountain bike for exercise as well as doing some outside workouts with kettlebells and jump ropes. Obviously my gym is closed. While working on a variety of projects and tasks I’ve been watching a ton of YouTube.
More updates soon.
Take care and stay safe!

Fingers crossed on the job search. I’m just hanging out on my 7 acres here in Eastern Washington watching the world freak out. It has been too cold to do much outside, but it is supposed to start warming up Wednesday. I have a ton of projects to do out side. I didn’t get much done last year due to some physical issues. Guess what? They are still there waiting for me! Stay safe, healthy, and happy.
Sounds like things are moving in the right direction! I’m glad, and I’ll cross my fingers, too.
Good luck, stressful times.
Good luck with the job search! These are not easy times.
