Here’s the struggle I have with how most people talk about “civil war” in America: they immediately think of rifles, militias, and battlefield lines. But modern warfare has evolved. It’s fought on multiple fronts — information, lawfare, financial pressure, social manipulation, cyberattacks, cultural subversion — and yes, sometimes violence too.
What if we’re already deep into a new kind of conflict, but most people can’t see it because it doesn’t look like the last one?
