It’s becoming harder to deny: participating in the political process is feeling more like a waste of time than ever before.
We were told things would change with Republicans in control. We were told Trump would fix it. The Deep State Cabal is more powerful than we thought. Yet, the national debt continues to explode, corruption runs wild, and responsible budgeting is nowhere in sight.
Members of Congress spend our money on luxury travel, foreign ventures, and political theater—like Lindsey Graham’s lavish trips to Ukraine—while Americans struggle at home. Meanwhile, hollow gestures like inviting non-Christian religious leaders to open congressional sessions further reveal just how far our institutions have strayed from the values this country was built on.
Left or Right, the truth is becoming clearer: both sides are corrupt, compromised, and incapable of fixing what’s broken.
It’s time to stop placing our hope in D.C. and start focusing on what we can control—our homes, our communities, our faith, and our preparedness. That’s where real change starts. Not in voting booths, but in how we choose to live every single day.
Focus on that which you can control, or that which you can influence. Invest in tangibles. Invest in property and supplies. Invest in knowledge.
Take care all –

i very much agree with you John. like i have harped on, communities are so very importaint as well as the local governments. our County Board of Supervisors and S.O’s have had to be reminded by others over the years that we know where they live, its sparsly populated ” 16K in 540 sq miles” and everyone knows everyone, nothing has ever come of it, but it keeps them in check. HAHA.
they are community members just like us. but sometimes they get to big for their britches and have to be reminded. we have a good bunch for now.
thanks again for what you do
My wife thinks things will get better, me, not so much and I will continue to prep for bad times.
It’s very hard for us to understand why the politicians do what they do
and what they don’t do.
As an example why did the government not help the folks in western
North Carolina when they were inundated by the hurricane and floods
last fall??
The disaster was more than citizens could handle.I’m sure they were
hoping for and expecting assistance from the government that never
came. There is an old saying”Shit in one hand and wish in the other
hand.See which hand fills up first.”
I believe that there are some elected officials that truly want to help
constituents but they are few and far between. The rest of them are into
politics for power and money.
The Democrats are determined to sabotage the Republicans on all issue’s
and visa versa. That means nothing will ever get fixed.
Civil war is a possibility and our enemies are banking that the country
will destroy its self from within.
Hopefully there are enough oath keepers left to save America.
