I just watched a Trump press conference where he met with three of the top technology powerhouses in the world. The announcement was that an agreement to develop something called “Stargate” was made and parts of it is already underway.
You can read a FoxNews story on it HERE.
I couldn’t help but think about the Terminator movie series which foretold of a giant defense system developed by Cyberdyne – called SkyNet. SkyNet would be responsible for protecting the United States when activated. The problem is it becomes “self-aware” and determines humans are a threat to its existence and thus declares war on all people.
Fun for a movie. Likely not so much in real life.
Then a cancer vaccine was mentioned using mRNA vaccines.
Has anyone seen “I Am Legend” by chance?
I digress. I love Trump and have such a feeling of hope and optimism. Regardless – I can’t help but be concerned and suspicious. Evil men are capable of anything. I’m not saying Trump is evil, but, some of those around him may take advantage.
Be hopeful folks and keep prepping.

Don’t forget the 2000 software hysteria. Remember how it was overblown. While I can’t say this may not happen, Man’s ability to create something greater than us/him is not likely. What I think you should look for are AI wars. It will start out as a “cold War” competition. Eventually there will be AI killing bots hunting down and “killing” other AI bots. This should prove interesting.
AI will have all the frailties and weaknesses of it’s creators.
I remember the Y2K fiasco well. That occurred in my younger years and I couldn’t understand all the questions. It was so easy to change the date in the computer and test the system.
Much like you I suspect wars in the future will be very different. In fact, there are likely wars occurring now and we don’t even realize it. As far as AI have the frailties and weaknesses of its’ creators – that is the problem. AI has the ability to learn, grow, and adapt to well beyond that which its creators intended. It’s dangerous.
