With all the headlines about pandemics, unemployment, economic collapse, and division in this country it is good to get distracted once in a while to recharge your batteries and keep some sanity. Over the past several week’s Youtube has been a major source of news and entertainment for me. I had a buddy send me a video to watch from the channel Itchy Boots. This channel documents a woman who is riding a motorcycle around the world in a variety of countries.
It really is amazing what she is doing. The scenery, the situations, and the people she comes across are inspiring. What I found most amazing is some of the locales she explores are most often advertised as primitive and violent – especially towards women. In most cases, she is welcomed and treated more than fair and friendly.
