Recent Trip: Chimney Rock, NC

So my youngest decided to get married…….at 19. Yup. I talked to him and provided my infinite wisdom but love…..or hormones….made him decide to go through with the ceremony. His bride is a very smart and nice girl. At least that is a positive. So – they decided to get married up at Lake Lure at Chimney Rock, NC. The area was absolutely gorgeous. What was particularly interesting is my ex had a chance to spend some time with Maine Prepper Girl. No cat fight…..things went well.

My oldest Grandson gets married on the 16th. They have been together for 5 years. They have a son and bought a house together (that made them married under common-law here in Montana). And like yours, she is smart, articulate, and hard working. The killer cute don’t hurt either.

Age is not that important, maturity is. I married my wife who was eighteen at the time and I was twenty two, yesterday, 9/10/22 we celebrated our fifty sixth anniversary.

Congratulations JR for having a new Daughter. Wishing both of them the best. My wife and I got married very young also and we have been married almost 58 years. Love can get you over a lot of humps in life.
