The transportation of all goods – including you and I – is getting more and more expensive. Over the past week, several new records have been broken as fuel prices continue their climb. The stock market has dropped 1,100 points just today as recession fears loom. Inflation – that word that’s on everyone’s lips – is making everything more expensive and shrinking the buying power of our dollars.
Many are predicting these trends will continue and set a course for severe economic strife over the next few years.
The chart above represents inflation rates in Argentina. It’s an example of what’s possible.
What’s the solution? Well, that’s above my paygrade. Take care of you and yours. My two cents.
Take care all.

Yep. I dust my ass each day in the charter boat to come home to see that I have $40,000.00 in market losses. The strange thing is that gold even tough it’s holding up much better than stocks is still being manipulated and suppressed.
Interesting graph Rourke.Capt. Turbo- sorry to hear about your losses.I never owned any stock- just the 4 legged kind- and that was years ago.

Bad times are coming. Tha Mormon Church pantry is having trouble getting the products they sell. Last week I bought a case of 6 cans of instant potatoes, wanted 2 cases but limit was one, yesterday it was 3 cans, today it was 1 can. They are expecting another shipment in the near future. They were also low or out of stock on other items.
Thank you Arlene and, .. JohnP, The only solution is to grow what you need for yourselves. The people in power want you to starve or worse. Sick times that we are living in.
Yep…things are going to get tight. If you haven’t yet, its time to lay back a few gallons of fuel. I’ll have to restock the gasoline I normally keep as well a the diesel. It will be a sizable investment. Already have the garden going and I’m pampering the chickens. As much a I dislike it, I’ll start carrying my side arm shortly. I’m in SC where I can open carry, but I won’t. I prefer to keep to the CCW.
Want to read an interesting book? Try this one. “Christians will go thru the Tribulation, and how to prepare for it.”
Part one of the book is spent on justification of the title about the tribulation. Part two of the book is what we all should do to prepare. If you are an ardent with your prep’s, you are right on line. He also add’s in some the disasters or crisis that he feels line up with the Tribulation. Part three is about spiritual preparation. I’m reading part three now.
I wish I could stock up on fuel Oren but my charter boat gets less than two miles per gallon so I’m always buying fuel daily. I’ve resisted raising the charter fare so far but I’m feeling the pressure to do so.
