someone should have explained that to New Jersey,,, I just don’t see how that will end well. The advent of Red Flag laws is NOT good. What will you do if they come to your door? Think carefully, as they will come with “law” on their side. I think your best bet is to know what your rights are so they can’t be abused. Search requires a warrant unless there is a compelling reason to preclude it.. Like someone inside screaming help or something.. If what is done IS actually legal and you resist it will be much worse. If it is done illegally, the evidence during the search must be repressed. You knowing is not enough .. your friends and family that might be at your home or that might be questioned must know the same rules. Good thing we don’t have anything anyone woudl be coming for.. In which case a legal search woudl not find anything illegal, woudl it. Of course the way they have taken a hole punch to the constitution, I’m sure it matters legal or not ..
