I have a love-hate relationship with the ability for this country to be saved from a complete implosion. When I look back over the last 50 years of not only how much this country has changed, but the extent to which my respect and admiration for who we are as a people and what we can do when we need to has also changed. I am one of the most patriotic people you will find. This was instilled in me by my father who served in multiple branches of the military and had tremendous respect for Ronald Reagan. I have shed tears while saying the Pledge of Allegiance and singing the National Anthem. Today my admiration is geared more towards the Founders, the Constitution, and the ideal of the United States – not the government we have now nor what we have become.
What about you? Have you experienced anything similar?
- Get out of the cities.
- Become as self-reliant and self-sufficient as possible.
- Insulate yourself from the effects of society, government, and big corp to the maximum extent possible.
- Prepare accordingly.
Would appreciate it if you’d watch the video, give it a thumbs up – and comment if possible. It helps the algorithm.
Take care all –

We’ve created this monster, and I don’t see how we can fix it without a major catastrophe to wake everyone up. We’ve lost our sense of family, and with it pride in our nation. We wanted our kids to have better lives than we did, but we went too far. We’ve taught them that the world revolves around them, so what incentive do they have to grow up? They don’t even realize that they’re immature and helpless, because they’ve never had to shoulder any responsibilities, even for their own actions.
Today’s crop of young Americans has been taught that they can do whatever feels right to them at any given moment. “Discipline” has become synonymous with “abuse”. We’re expected to reason with 3-year-olds. We’ve given our children the impression that they can hurt other people just because they’re feeling hurt or because someone has something that they want.
We didn’t want them to get bored, so we filled their evenings, weekends, and summers with planned activities. They never had the chance to entertain themselves or work out their own problems. All we succeeded in doing was letting them know that in spite of working long hours to provide for them, we were also willing to spend every moment of our free time making sure they had fun. Vacations are no longer where dad wants to go; it’s where the kids will find the most excitement. Supper isn’t what mom can afford; it’s all about what the kids feel like eating tonight.
We no longer have advanced or remedial classes in school, because singling someone out might hurt their feelings. We just dumb down all the classes and keep everyone together. There’s no reason to practice or study, because we hand out participation trophies just for showing up. Boot Camp has been simplified, because some people found it too difficult. SEAL teams are on their way out, because BUD/S training is dangerous. We provide bubble wands and Play-Doh during college finals, because the 18-year-old children can’t cope with the stress.
Today’s kids have never had to share a bedroom because they’re entitled to privacy. They don’t wear hand-me-downs, because someone might make fun of them. They’ve never experienced scraped knees and elbows, because we wrap them in padding just to ride a tricycle up and down the driveway. Allergies and infections are on the rise because we don’t let them get dirty and clean everything immediately with bleach or antibiotic soap.
We can no longer add new facts to history. Instead, we have to remove all signs of past transgressions and teach everything from the viewpoint of the losing side. We can’t have fake violence during a reenactment of the French & Indian War because it might depress someone who lost a loved one during Desert Storm. “Acting” is bad, because it involves cultural appropriation.
There are things about society that did need to change, but we’ve gone too far with inclusivity. “Courtesy” and “tradition” have become discriminatory terms. Too many people are under the impression that it means we’re entitled to a free-for-all where anything goes. I don’t know how we can fix this, but I think a lot of people are in for a rude awakening before too much more time passes.
You said so much SingleMom and said it well!! Everyone needs to read what you wrote several times. It’s the truth. I am seeing pushback on many examples you provided which is good, however, I fear it is too late and not enough people are pushing back on that which has made us weak. Thanks.
You make me glad I live in Montana. 2% of the US population live in this greater area. Most people, outside of the “cities”, work too hard to make a living to get wrapped up in the “woke” agenda.
Very true JP. Relocating to Maine the number of people as well as population density was a large consideration. The town I live in has a population density 40 times less than where I lived in SC. I find people that farm and work hard for living pay more attention to themselves and their families than to what some celebrity or politician thinks. I think that is largely good, however, many vote and are not aware of many of the issues. I was up in my area back in 2020 and never, not once, saw a Biden sign in anyones yard. I think that speaks volumes. In the big cities? Completely different.
John, your right, the country needs a reset to save it. It will not be pretty. My thought is it will leave us weak during that period of time and our enemies will try and take advantage and destroy us as a country, we must win on both fronts in order to survive. We can not ever repeat the mistakes we have all made In believing those that tell us us they can take take care of the country without monitoring what they do. There was a reason some were called statesmen and others polticians.
Agree JohnP. We did allow this to happen. I’ve had discussions with numerous people over the past couple years about who is responsible. The voters? Big corp? Crooked politicians? Special interest groups? Deep State? I think the blame can certainly be spread around. At this point not sure it matters. I like Ralph K’s ideas of what needs to be done. I fear there is not the organization and unification of citizens to make it happen.
“If something cannot go on forever, it will stop”, the author I do not recall, but it is the truth. Let’s face it, the inmates are in control currently and will need to be forced out. I remember a prison movie where the protagonist is given advice by a fellow convict, “you don’t have to stand tall in a place like this, but you do have to stand up”. We are at that moment now. Although I think we as society cannot avoid violence, the best answer to the ongoing and worsening dilemma is massive non-compliance by the population, and by that I mean massive. Dox every bureaucrat, politician, the compromised judiciary, the media lapdogs, leftist teachers of pedophilia and wokeness, the dog catcher if need be. Go to their homes in masses and do everything to legally terrorize them and their families, day and night. Make them feel the fear and pain. That is the alternative to violent overthrow of our controllers. That would promote the least bloodshed, otherwise it is game on. And bring back mental institutions, they were phased out during the 70’s and as a result they always wind up on the streets or incarcerated. There are better ways. I worked for a year in a state mental hospital years ago, and clearly there are people out there who do not have both oars in the water. Thats life, give them a humane but separate environment. If they improve, meter out their freedom accordingly. One way or the other, there is going to be a reset, and its going to be substantial and difficult. Prepare, pray and practice.
Ralph – I could not agree more. Words of wisdom!!
Ralph K, 👍👍👍👍
Time to leave the cities and states where the problems are bad. Ally with like minded people, rely less or no government, defend your beliefs, family, friends and property from those that have no respect for those listed items, teach your kids those things that the state schools don’t and dump those officials that don’t have you or the country’s best interests in mind.
