There has been hope that with a pro-2nd Amendment Congress and President suppressors would lose the eternal damnation they currently have in the government’s eyes. Rep. Jeff Duncan(SC) introduced a bill January 9th called the Hearing Protection Act of 2017. It currently sits in subcommittee.
I doubt it will pass. I cannot imagine the out roar from the media as they describe the coming wave of death and destruction which would of course occur.

Actions by Russia continue to beg the questions – “What are they doing and what is their end game?” The latest has Russia deploying a ground-based cruise missile in violation of a 1987 arms treaty.

I am up over 100gb in my survival & preparedness library project. There are some duplicate files I’ll have to weed through. A huge undertaking. Some files are already organized into digital folders but most still need to be. Combined with a Kindle Fire, battery pack – and a small solar panel – this self contained library should be pretty cool.

Hope everyone is having a good week.
There are many reasons why so many love their Kindle and Amazon Fire tablets. One huge advantage is you could literally go years without every buying a book to read as there are tons of free eBooks available. Don’t have a Kindle or Fire? No problem. There are apps that can be installed on most any cell phone or computer for free. No excuses!

NOTE: If you see a free Kindle book that you’re interested in get it now. Prices change often and there is no way to tell how long the book will remain free. Before purchasing a free Kindle book on Amazon make certain the book is still free by making sure the price is $0.00. If it lists a price or says “read for free” or has a price for prime members the book is not free anymore.
The NRA has a petition for the suppressor issue. I have signed it.
Please write more about your Survival Fire Library, your recharging methods, file transfer to memory card , and EMP protection used. Thank you for the listing of free or near free kindle books. I look forward to these daily and am building that digital library with you.
Working on a post about this Dotman. Hope to publish soon.
Russia is the biggest thing that scares me right now. This administration seems to think they are our friends and will have our backs. Russia will never be Americas friend. Putin is a dangerous, KGB trained manipulator. Trump has a lot of great ideas, but he needs to get a handle on understanding that Russia is our biggest enemy and that is not going to change.
Good points JAS.
Along about 1991 (?), under G.W. Bush, there was a treaty signed that basically did away with the Warsaw Pact saying Poland, et. al. were on their own. The U.S. via James Baker (Secretary of State) agreed that we would not advance any closer to the Russian Border. We have advanced militarily as well as through diplomatic and/or social influence quite a ways since then. An unbiased observer might even call the US an aggressor.
Don’t misunderstand, I’m neither defending or criticizing Putin for anything he does. I’m just saying there’s a whole lot more to the Russian story than gets published here. Half the facts don’t tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth. It seems there must always be a Boogeyman and if there is not a legitimate threat, they’ll create one for us. Better yet, if there were a legitimate threat of something, like economic collapse and civil war, having someone ELSE to blame is of paramount importance. There’s a show called Cross Talk on RT.TV on the weekends that sheds a brighter light on ‘world activities’.
Who are these people in the ‘media’ business that decide what we should believe?
Thanks Pam. I agree. I hear what is reported in England, Australia, and other countries regarding Russia is quite different than here.
