While historically I’ve not been an advocate for “Global Warming” or “Climate Change” there’s no denying the weather has been very volatile for quite some time. My position is this – It really doesn’t matter if the climate change is from man or mother nature. It’s changing and representing another challenge we have to consider in our risk matrix.

Intentions for the New Year .-Projects etc.
My daughters boyfriend is conservative and wants to learn all about prepping so I am putting together a preparedness box of items for him for Christmas.
The thing about weather is you have to look at a very long scale to see what warmer or colder or wetter or dryer than normal means. On a Geologic scale it means one thing, on a millennial (time not group of winey young adults) it means seom thing else.
We by classification are still in an ice age … The world is much cooler than the dinosaurs had it… Of course we as humans have a much smaller scope 30-40 years.. even less if you want to say for a specific technology or set of tools. We lack scope .. Of course everything is Sooo politicized, any opinion can be used for an POV and then used for it’s opposite a year later.. I’m beginning to understand the attitude of “I’m old I’m grumpy and stay the F’k off my lawn” as more than a metaphor. I like to teach, but I cannot waste the time trying to wake up someone that wishes to sleep.. IMO… the “stay off my lawn” part as a metaphor.
