Preparing Today for an Uncertain Tomorrow
We’re working on the move to the new house, but we are going to a BBQ with friend in the early afternoon. Good combo for us!
Every day is a monday here, I am med retired & am the caregiver to 2 other disabled family members;
So frackin bite me when you brag about your trips, vacations, etc..
Someone needs to go to a happy place….. 😉
There is no such place, just the unending chores & demands of this family, meals to be made, laundry that needs to be washed, dishes that need to be cleaned, errands that need to be run, etc…
And then I see everyone posting their vacations, & them doing fun stuff, makes me mad as hell because I can no longer have these things, hell even my son’s Special Olympics have been taken away from him.
So when I see all this crap from folks have a good time, just upsets the crap out of me. Hell it has been 2 years since I got to go fishing down at the Mississippi River sloughs by me.
So yea I am a grouch
Mike – I know a few people who have lost their children who would gladly trade places with you. I hope you can get a break soon. Take care.
