With Facebook and Twitter censoring those trying to share a NY Post story revolving around Hunter Biden and his father’s corrupt activity with a Chinese energy firm – it has never been more clear that free speech is under attack. This is nothing new, however, the assault on our 1st amendment rights is ramping up.
I announced several weeks ago that I was launching a Patreon page. It was a major decision for me as I’ve been very sensitive about overly commercializing the content I provide. Currently, I only have one tier on Patreon and it is a whopping $1.00 per month. I appreciate those who have come over and joined and invite everyone to check it out. If you find it’s not worth it simply cancel. A second tier will be coming in November with added benefits.
It will be of no surprise that across social media those who promote Patriotism and Conservative opinions are being silenced. Several years ago I was demonetized on Youtube. Those who show firearms as part of their content are often targeted. I ended up stopping my efforts and concentrated more on my website. I’ve since started my Youtube channel back up in an effort to reach more like-minded people.
It’s simply a fact that today in order to have any kind of online business where you’re trying to reach as many people as possible platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter are a necessity. There is a need for platforms that allow for freedom of expression and provide an ability for those suppressed on one platform to connect with others on another. So far options are slim and fairly ineffective. Patreon is one platform I’ve joined and so far I like it.
As preppers, 2nd Amendment supporters, and believers in the Constitution we need to stick together. Networking, sharing ideas, and knowledge are important. Having outlets to share “sensitive” content that might be considered radical by some is required. While no platform may be perfect – platforms such as Patreon and MeWe need to be joined and promoted if we are to fight against censorship.
I am continuing to expand my presence on Patreon. Putting content behind a “paywall” has benefits not only for myself but for those who join as well. I have been publishing member-only benefits such as special downloads(books, guides, and even full-length digital movies). I record audio messages and video’s more members as well. I am providing more insight into my private life than I do on a publicly accessed platform such as this website. Soon I will be sharing many more details about my life as well. Having a paywall – even as low as $1.00 – does keep out some rift raft including hackers, and simple troublemakers.
I’ll continue to add content and connect with others on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc. as long as I am able. I will also continue my efforts on Patreon and explore other potential platforms where freedom of speech is accepted – and expected.
See the sneak peek video below for some insight into my Patreon account.
Take care all.

This is my surprised face…
Have you tried to recruit Patreon members from MEWE?
vandal67 – I have a very small following on MeWe and just recently established my account there after losing control over my original some months ago. Yes – I have publicized my Patreon account there and will continue to do so. Are you there? Are we connected?
Vandal67:
Moving platforms is only a temporary solution. Patreon donates to liberal causes so they could go the way of all the others just as easily. The problem is not the platform, the problem is that they can and do get away with “interpreting” the 1st Amendment and changing it to suit their agenda at the time and with no restraint.
We don’t need new government regulation to fix this, we need set standards then enforce them. We are currently doing neither.
JP – I have not found any information that Patreon donates to Liberal causes. Maybe they do – I just haven’t seen it.
You are 100% correct Patreon COULD go the way of Facebook and Youtube and begin censoring. I am developing a backup plan on another platform where I can duplicate efforts and provide another option for people. So far – I am having no issues with Patreon and hopefully, that will continue.

JP – BTW, the only government involvement needed is to remove the section 230 protection many of these platforms are taking advantage of.
JR: I forget exactly where I read it, but it was before you went live. I will look into it and see if I can get that info.
JP – Patreon – like many companies – have played the marketing game and have come out with statements in support of a variety of causes, including Liberal causes.
