From the Desk of John Rourke – October 23rd, 2017

I have been an avid customer of Aldi’s for years. Great prices. a new store opened in my town called Lidl. SOME – but not most – of there prices are better than Aldi’s. They have incredible sales. Recently they had canned corn for .33 cents a can.

Came across this SOG Response Bag. Looks pretty nice – especially for less than $20.

Watch this video. You may have heard the story. I am man enough to tell you it had me in tears from the sadness – the frustration – the pissed off anger that this would happen.

Anyone who questions what is going on in this country here you go. This is America – not North Korea. Some would rather not sing the National Anthem in honor of a fallen soldier? Seriously? My response to them – “Get the $%&! out!!!”

Folks – there’s a battle coming. It may be a year – it may be 20 – but it’s coming. Those that cherish what America has represented for over 200 years and those who wish to rewrite history and soil the red, white, and blue will meet to decide this country’s future. I do not wish for violence, however, it is likely unavoidable.

good morning all; I like Aldi’s Big lots & all the Dollar type stores BUT, you must know per ounce price. some cans are smaller so the price just “might” be higher than you think. I love my America,so sad many are trying to slowly destroy it.

I wish Aldi’s was more casually accessible .. but it isn’t around here.
On America.. I am thankful to be here and to have been here as a citizen all my life so far. (You can hear the “BUT”, can’t you).
I’ll preface the “BUT”. Remember getting married day one ? The line that fits, is “you never wake up with the same person twice”. You don’t notice gradual change, except occasionally and all at once. So which America are we talking about ? Most of us that are older, when we say that are talking about an idealized America, in our youth that never really existed. Age being the ability to remember things the way they never were… It’s why history being rewritten by a political VIEWPOINT is dangerous. Two generations and the young ones will never know.
This is a pretty severe form of Normalcy Bias. We knew less and were more hopeful in our youth, so it did seem better, and probably was to a degree. We got older and learned more, and began to accommodate change less well as we decided what we would accept. Saying a 21 year old is an adult is silly .. IMO, unless you are talking about the simplest tasks of life. Anyway we don’t WANT to see it , I don’t.. at times and then I feel bad about not doing enough individually and nationally, when I do.
It’s the rationale behind an American Reformation, rather than recovery. In recovery, you have to choose which version of America you want to recover. Toss in our politicians and parties willing to write the histories and you would not get that version anyway, and if allowed, in 20 years no one will ever know. An American reformation is more deliberate and woudl address the things that DID not work in the past, and IMO be like defined in the Constitution.
Liberty and Freedom would be equal access. Government, greatly diminished in size and power.. and all those Administrative branches could leave .. IRS being one.. as well as others. Tax is necessary for any government, how much, hoe spent and how collected determines whether it is fair or theft.
Responsible asset backed including precious metals currency with ZERO inflation/Quantitative easing.
There is a great deal more, but I’ll stop. I’m ranting.. Re-evaluate what you think, and see if you have any bias… everyone does .. I do.. but evaluate if the are positive or not..
    Have a great week everyone

I like Aldi’s also. I believe they are a German based store, but I will be looking for the Lidl store if I can find one.

If any steward told me, what they told her. It would be go time verbally. And any international that didn’t like it, can get the haides out of America. Followed by me getting a lawyer, because I’ve always wanted to be rich!

Back on 24 hour alert. Yeah, they have to be, if they are smart, as anyone should after the recent proactive threats from NK. MAD = Mutual assured destruction. Par for the course. Meh. Either way..Nuclear war is the game ender. I’m not sweating it, because there is no surviving it or the fall out. Chernobyl happened in 1986, we are now in 2017, and people are dying/have died of a slow painful cancerous death. And that was a small isolated area. Now imagine the whole US…pffffft. No thanks

Here…watch this. 4:21 ‘Nuclear Tipping Point’ Introduction by General Powell. Here is the reality for you on a small scale. He created this video to try and promote down sizing Nukes. The rest of the video..meh. The most poignant issue that is glossed over in the entire video, is the colossal words spoken by Powell in this section. Massive death and no stopping the onslaught of either side.
