SHTF, WW3, the Zombie Apocalypse, TEOTWAWKI, The Coming Struggle

Over the years people have referred to the end of the world in many different ways. I like to refer to what we may face as the Zombie Apocalypse. It’s kind of a funny way to talk about a serious topic. I find that for those who I wish to engage in the topic of preparedness and are not preppers respond well to a little zombie talk.

A few years ago I started using the term “American Reformation” to refer to a potential economic collapse combined with civil conflict between economic and political classes. Yeah, it was a bit too complicated and probably specific. I get an A for effort, right? As the years have gone by and things have become so unpredictable terms such as The Event and The Coming Struggle have started to be used.

I like – – “The Coming Struggle.” I think that sums up whatever may happen.

The vast majority of us are struggling in one way or twelve. I know many people who simply cannot survive on what they make. In order to make it they have to live with friends, and family, or even take in perfect strangers as roommates. While the stock market soars to new records, the majority of Americans are seeing their purchasing power get less and less.

Now, throw in the global threats to supply chains, possible world war, and a corrupt government that continues to divide the citizenship to the point of civil war.

The Coming Struggle.

Yeah – makes sense to me.

Over the coming weeks, we will be editing and publishing some past articles and redirecting them towards preparing for…..you guessed it…….

the coming struggle, shtf, prepper, teotwawki, prepare, get ready, survival

Stay tuned folks…..

I think people will be feeling even more pressure after the stock market implosion last week. The wealth affect took a big hit. A bit of a bounce today which weakened toward the close. Was it a dead cat?
    Good luck to us all.

unpredictability has been the keyword for our prepping here lately. God only knows what may come about in a year from now, i don’t even try and guess anymore. my wife and i work on long term sustainability, and a good community is our best bet. luckily, people here in the rural deep south have lived this lifestyle forever. when Hurricane Katrina and Camille came through we pulled together and barely had a hiccup in our daily lives. BBQ’s every night and cutting trees, clearing roads and driveways during the day, taking baths in the river. i remember it being fun, but memories can fade with age.
many, many people are struggling now just to put food on their tables for their families through no fault of their own other than the massive increase in the cost of living, Bidenomics is killing our country.
i couldn’t imagine living an urban lifestyle now with 4 or more mouths to take care of, it must be tough on those folks, and God forbid an unexpected medical expense or something should happen.
pray for our nation and our REAL citizens.

Very true words Scout. I’ve been using the word “unpredictable” a lot lately. Excellent point on community as well. That is something I’ve been working on a bit in my new area here but need to ramp it up. Networking and getting to know people will pay dividends in bad times.
