Some sad news……

It’s with great sadness that I let everyone know that longtime 1776 community member Arlene has passed. Arlene often commented and shared her thoughts on things. She also commented at times under the name “Lightning”.

Arlene followed me over here from my previous website and we also exchanged emails every so often. Over the years she gave me some advice when I was having some problems with my son. When I heard the news the first thing that entered my mind was she was back together with her husband. Her husband passed a few years ago.

Going to miss seeing what she has to say to my ramblings.

I am so sorry and will miss her wise remarks. I connected with her in many ways. Both of us are women and there are not too many here
I grew up on a farm and so I know many survival ways. We lived off the land and Arlene often talked about farm events which I related to.
So I will not say goodbye but say that we will meet again somewhere in that glorious land that is now beyond our realm.
I am sending blessings to Arlene and her family.
