In the 30+ years I’ve been a survivalist I’ve seen many different perspectives on survival & preparedness. One group believes that it all comes down to grid down/civil unrest and how you get there really doesn’t matter. EMP, massive polar shift, civil war, terrorist attacks? If the end result is the grid goes down and the resulting civil unrest takes place – it’s all the same.
The other group believes in preparing for “whatever” and requires paying attention and trying to predict that which would cause grid down/civil unrest conditions. Due to the particulars of different situations, they require specific actions to complete to best prepare. I can see that.
Of course, there are some who fall outside these two philosophies, however, most sit squarely in one or the other.
The unfortunate thing is there are debates over which philosophy is correct. Much like how many believe there is no link between politics and preparedness, or the volatile weather of late and climate change – in the end, we are all in the same community and can see the fit is going to hit the shan.
One can go bonkers trying to track all the craziness that’s going on right now. Even without doing so, all those pieces of the puzzle are coming together and the corresponding image is worse than seeing Nancy Pelosi naked. Well – maybe not.
What do you think?
