1776PatriotUSA.com Changes Direction…..Slightly

Regular posting has resumed albeit at a lesser scale. Daily posts will likely not occur, however, 2-3 posts per week are possible. While 1776PatriotUSA.com has always been a preparedness website with a decent amount of politics and current events, the direction is going to change just a bit. You may notice the tagline just under the title has changed. It now currently reads, “Rational Thoughts on Preparing for Systemic Failure”.

Think about that term – “systemic failure”. While many of us focus on concerns for economic collapse, EMP, or some other apocalyptic event, the reality is they all have a common theme – systemic failure. This basically means a mass interruption to the power grid, supply chains, communications, and governmental services.

Here’s the theory: If you are prepared for systemic failure you are pretty much prepared for everything – including the infamous zombie apocalypse.

I’ll continue to publish similar content with an emphasis on independence, being as self-reliant as possible, and minimizing exposure to the overreaching effects of government.

Good to hear from you. I love whatever you send out. Crazy world right now. Working on bringing my neighbors up to speed.

Nice to hear from you and the slight direction turn, I’m just sick and tired of constant politics talk on many prep sites that overtakes what preparedness is about and just turns me off of reading anything. I’m old school survivalist where preparedness/survivalism is apolitical. I can see how we are in a systemic social and economic collapse while it’s currently in slow motion it’s happening if one reads between the lines.

Good to hear from you JR. Probably a good idea for a slight change in topic. Like jh said, I am also sick and tired of politics.

Just so you don’t spin towards Planet of the Apes or promise everyone rainbows! Great site and in time everything changes for the better!

…good to hear more from you lately! i can see the tweaking of directions, after all, we are in a different place situationally and most likely personally than we expected two years ago.(What WE plan or expect seldom happens exactly as is envisioned.) The last few months have been rather like a dry spell waiting for the “rain” of flowing posts and comments we had enjoyed, even after the change of sites. Looking forward to the community revving back up!

Feels like we stopped to rest, but i’m betting none quit…..

Sounds good man. I’ve somewhat changed my outlook towards a similar path. I think it’s more of an evolution of the prepping process than it is a change in direction. Better to be generally prepared vs specialized

You had me worried for a while there John. You kinda fell off the radar. Good to see you back. Based on your post, I think I see a new burn in your writing. You appear to see a need out here in the hinterland to gather together everyone to focus our efforts. I look forward to your new direction.

I admit I had to do a little reading on the term “systemic failure” to be sure I understood it’s meaning. It’s a great direction for the site. I love your writing (your posts and your book), so looking forward to what’s coming.
