How I wish for the feeling that the weeks after 9/11 brought – unity, patriotism, Americans. Car after car driving through towns with the American flag waving for all to see.
Back then there were no racists, Antifa, democrats, or republicans.
It’s nice to reflect back and value memories.
Unfortunately, 9/11/2001 happened 20 years ago today most have learned nothing or at a minimum remember less than that.
We are in for a turkey stuffing the likes of which we have never seen.
Remember the fallen, and let’s not forget the assclowns that kept us in Afghanistan for 20 years – only to give the country back to the Taliban and spit on all those who sacrificed.
Wish this could be more uplifting. Rather – it will be more real. On a positive note – those that love America, believe in the Constitution – we are united. We must remain that way.

First off I wish to say I love turkey stuffing. Has to have some gravy upon it, and a good amount of fresh ground pepper. My mom made the best of course, I am prejudiced, so what, eat your peas, I don’t care.
More importantly and much more serious, I am one of few who have seen the beginning, end and beginning again of the World Trade Center site. As a young boy I remember walking by the beginning excavation in downtown NYC at the north and south sites. Going down at least what I now believe was well over 100 ft below the street level. Impressive. I later returned as a young man and was on the top of the World Trade Center, looking out over the skyline of Manhattan and the harbor to the south. Later in years, I remember watching on tv in real time the jet crashing into the north tower after the south tower had been hit. My nephew, thank God, working in a hedge fund, left his office in the north tower for Chicago the week before.
Some years later I returned to Manhattan and visited the area and saw a deep hole in the ground once again. I know personally of folks whose lives were forever changed by this event. I also know that building 7 was not hit by anything and yet by some mysterious force, collapsed.
This entire event was a construct which we today are still enveloped in and living through. The story is still unfolding. Be strong, be aware and have faith for there is yet much to be revealed in this drama. We are living in the history of our times. May God have mercy upon us all.
John you are right. I called my Congress woman’s office yesterday to see if there is any way to keep our idiot from turning over more money to the taliban, they are seeing if there is but they were not overly optomistic. It appears now his great retaliation to our troops and many civilians being killed at the airport gate was friendly fire on an aid worker and children, if this inept ads missed in a pool he would still miss it. Ralph k, your right about being aware, he’ll is coming.
Rourke- right on and fellow patriots : I watched some of the intense Sept. 11th coverage. It is important that we honor and remember that innocent civilians and heroes were murdered . President Trump kept our enemies in line- now I also see that the terrorists will rise again-using our equipment. If I was a member of the service I would have poured sand in every gas tank.-before I left. I feel the pain of all those who have lost a loved one on Sept 11th and in Afghanistan or Iraq- where is the common sense of this administration.
Bin Laden wrote a book A THOUSAND YEars for revenge. They have not wasted the last 20 on planning. We had better take out their military before they attack us again here. Arlene
I am counting the months until we get a real President back in the White house.
