It’s been extremely busy over the past couple of weeks. Works been crazy and the amount of time spent posting here and on Patreon suffered a bit. I see light at the end of the tunnel so hopefully, things will be back to normal soon.

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Visited my brother in Georgia. He lives fairly remote out in the country. Spent a good part of the day sending freedom seeds downrange and enjoyed some Tannerite as well. Even with ammunition prices where they are at we definitely had the smell of gunpowder covering the area.
Tested some of the Global Ordnance SHK 30-rd AR magazines(currently sold out) I picked up for $6.99 – -flawless. Picture of one below.

On Friday we headed out and visited several gun shops. Ammunition was scarce and when available ranged from expensive to expensive.

Joe Biden’s plans on gun control include mandatory gun buybacks, bans on high capacity magazines, limitations on the number of firearms that can be purchased monthly, elimination of private gun sales, etc. Yeah – guns and ammo are expensive right now. If you are not in the guns and ammo position you want to be in – get there.

I saw in the news today Biden spent the weekend in the ER and his doctors office. Seemed he fell while playing with his dogs. Hope the dogs were not injured.
The dog is a Patriot and pushed the corrupt old crook on his ass.

I read he was hit by a shovel … broke two bones in his middle foot.. now in a boot. Setting up for an Embolism … either brain or heart .. you watch. Not even messy.
Very busy here too.. building a nice barn.. weather .. butchering critters.. (smoked a 42 lb turkey (cleaned) for Thanks giving.. had to cut into 3 pieces with garden sheers.. to smoke it)

Trying to enjoy the journey and not focus on obstacles as much.. aint easy, but probably worth it.

I had some issues with the Magpul extended bolt release. I switched to the Phase 5 version and it’s quite stable. There was a previous brand I used for builds (much like Magpul’s) but they had some patent issue and I could no longer get their version which was rock solid. The brands with more than one set screw seem more reliable in my limited experience with them. I put these on all ARs at this point.
As someone who went thru the 10 year “assault ban”, I recommend looking at full capacity magazines while they are still cheap and available. Even cheap plastic Ruger 10/22 high cap mags skyrocketed in price, when they were even seen surging those years.
