Pages not glue in/cut properly
Great book and information. Nice neat and spacious font. Only disappointment is that the middle of the book between pages 316/323 was not glue at print or was missing in production. How ever they print out the missing pages and didn't bother to glue them in, also the cut for the paper wasn't cut to line up with the other pages. SEE PICTURES.

I had a critical care professional refer this book to me, as to have handy in my library, for the just in case scenario. The book now goes with me to remote work locations, and on family camping trips.

I am not a trained medical professional, outside of basic first aid courses. This book was written for people like me, and states in the introduction that the trained medical professional may find it useful, but its below their pay grade. Interestingly, the intro also states that albeit a medical professional is trained, they are usually trained in a specific field, and they may not or do not, always know it all.

Very simply put, this book, all 600 pages of it, is a well thought out, easily referenceable guide to just about anything you could think of that could cause problems, or folks might have problems with.

A simplified breakdown of each ailment or trauma, how it happens, the reasons behind it happening, how to approach it off grid, how to use readily available OTC's to your advantage to treat it, and in the worst case scenario where these items aren't available, to stem or slow the negative affects as long as possible with potential for recovery under the right circumstances.

The big takeaway from the guide, is to take an hour or two following a quick read through, write down the OTC's or other items that you should have stocked in your kit, and go out and find them.

In fact there is an entire sections on the top OTC's everyone should have handy, but most importantly, it breaks down what each one does, and how you can apply it and to what, when you need it most.

Excellent guide. Buy with confidence. Well worth the money. After going through it, you realize the $50 is a drop in the water compared to the potential cost should you be ill prepared. If you have one book to buy for your kit and your an average joe making your way through life on the daily, this is it.
