From the Desk of John Rourke – August 29th, 2017

There’s been a lot of discussion over the past 6 months or so regarding people not taking preparedness as serious as they once did. I get a short reprieve as the election results were so unexpected but that’s it….a short pause in prepping efforts.

Now? There are so many examples and so much evidence the need to prepare is real. If you’re reading this no need to provide a list. You are aware. You know.

So what to do? Make a plan. Grab a pad of paper and write out what preparedness efforts you wish to accomplish this Fall. Prioritize.

Don’t think about just tangibles…think about skills. Think about TASKS that need to be accomplished. These tasks may involve researching communications, organizing, building something, or take inventory. Write it down and get it done.

Move forward. Make progress. Improve. It doesn’t take a ton of money. It takes a focused effort.

Want a little motivation?

Take a look at North Korea’s latest provocative move: They fired a missile OVER Japan! I consider this one move a game changer. Previously a lot of talk and a few missile tests. Now the little man actually shot a missile at one of the countries he has been threatening.
